<h3>BACKGROUND</h3>Teacher Rachel graduated from Ville Saint John Academy <a href="https://www.vsjacademy.edu.ph" data-mce-href="https://www.vsjacademy.edu.ph" target="_blank" rel="noopener">(https://www.vsjacademy.edu.ph</a>) in 1995, a Catholic school in Parañaque City, Philippines, owned and managed by the Sisters of St. John the Baptist. She is now based in San Felipe, Zambales, where she continues her mission of helping those in need. Their education level is often only up to Grade 3, and many cannot read or write. Discrimination: Sadly, the Aeta community experiences discrimination, making their lives even harder. Climate Change: The worsening climate brings hot summers, wildfires, and floods, making survival even more difficult.
